Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located close to Walsall town center, making it perfect for visitors who just need a comfortable place to sleep. The rooms, while stuffy due to limited ventilation, are adequate but lack some essential amenities. The friendly and accommodating staff offer a good service experience, although there were some minor inconveniences with the housekeeping. The dining options are simple and somewhat overpriced, but the hotel's value shines in its location and proximity to the city center.
The room was spacious and comfortable, but there were some cleanliness issues like hair from the previous occupant in the bathroom. The 80s furniture and lack of amenities were noticeable, with painting falling off the walls. However, the service was friendly even though the housekeeping could have been better. The location was convenient for events at the NEC in Birmingham, but noise from traffic was a downside. The dining experience was ordinary, with limited options and a declined request for a late breakfast service. The easy booking process at the last minute was a plus.
My stay at the hotel was such a pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious and even had peppermint tea, making it cozy and enjoyable. The service provided by the staff, under new owners, was top-notch, very courteous, and always willing to help. The location, though not in a quiet area, was convenient for me as it was close to my daughter. The dining experience, especially the Mexican food, was quite good, although it could have been a little better. Overall, it was a great value for the money spent.
